I HATE DIAL-UP!!!!!!!!
I broke down after reading all sorts of glowing reviews, and I bought "City of Heroes" today. It is a mmorpg involving super-heroes, and such. It actually eliminated all of the things I hate about other mmorpgs. Things like trade skills, and camping, and fishing, and other bullshit. It's basically all action, all the time.
Now then, as of 9:30 p.m. I have seven and a half hours to wait for the updates to load. I hate dial-up....damn it.

Isn't that the game that has to be played online. or was I given wrong information. The wife and I looked into it and thought it looked cool. but someone told us you have to play online and I don't want to do that.
Yes, you have to play it online, and I was the one who told you that. Let me tell you though, this game is FUN!!! I am now the (not so) powerful Redchaser, fighting Nazi throwbacks with my katana, and regenerative abilities...WOOHOO!

Yeah, there is a monthly fee, but so far there have been 2 free updates, (116 megs hence my 7 hours download), with more on the way. And an upcoming "City of Villains" expansion, that is going to make it all the more cool.
